Hello folks, just a short note to let you all know 'Serving Worlds' is not podfaded or extinct... nor is your author and reader and host!

This interestingly long hiatus in the podcast was brought to you by the letters 'laid off' and 'I moved' and the number '1 dead microphone'. Never fear for your humble and VERY late author: all's well and good! I have a new mic on order and am performing edits on new stories now.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm trying to make Lovecraft roll in his grave for the next story, the 'Vampire' story that received double digit requests for... right before I disappeared, over a 'Dragon' story. Sorry folks, I shall try desperately to win back your respect, love, adoration, etc.

Hi folks,

Well, this intrepid writer and podcaster has survived a world science fiction convention and moving all his possessions and offspring to a new house.

Both were exhausting experiences, but not nearly as frustrating as trying to line a new nest from which to record my voice for podcasting! Argh, sound bounces around a lot in the walls of my new digs.

While I sort out my new podcasting setup, I wanted to put it to you: we've had some heavy, dark stuff up on 'Serving Worlds' lately, so I want to give you a choice of what you hear next.

Do you want to hear a light, almost Young Adult novelish bit with a Dragon, or another darker something with a Vampire?
